The MD series fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) round counterflow cooling towers are advanced products developed by HON MING Cooling Towers. The HON MING MD series is categorized based on application requirements into air-conditioning, industrial, and high-temperature models. Depending on the site environment, users can choose from standard, low-noise, or ultra-low-noise models. Each model is further divided into multiple specifications to meet various circulating water treatment needs, fully catering to different types of equipment.

MD cooling towers are particularly suitable for applications involving heat dissipation in circulating water systems. This includes natural cooling in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heat storage systems, as well as cooling condenser water in these systems. They are also widely used for industrial and manufacturing processes that discharge waste heat, such as injection molding, leather production, foam manufacturing, power generation, steam turbines, metal processing, and air compressors—especially in industries requiring high-temperature water cooling. The MDR high-temperature model features components capable of withstanding temperatures up to 95°C.

Tower Structure System
The cooling tower structure system is typically built with fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) and thin steel plates, especially in harsh environments. FRP materials used in MD series products undergo resin bonding and anti-corrosion treatments, ensuring long-term, stable operation even in coastal or highly humid areas. The glass fiber is combined with anti-aging resins, and the surface is coated with UV-resistant gel, offering excellent durability and preventing UV-induced surface oxidation. The evenly distributed coating minimizes layer peeling and discoloration. Standardized module production strengthens the structure, enhancing load capacity and wind resistance.
Heat Exchange System
The heat exchange system consists of efficient heat exchangers and water distribution devices. The modular design integrates thin film fillers and water dispersion systems. By evenly distributing hot water over the filler, the system maximizes heat dissipation. The MDR series employs advanced materials and precision engineering to improve cooling efficiency, prevent scale formation, and reduce energy loss. Water flows in a zigzag pattern, effectively separating air and water while maximizing heat exchange. In environments with water temperatures exceeding 55°C, the MDR series uses PP high-temperature leak-proof pipes and heat exchange fillers, withstanding temperatures up to 95°C.
Cooling Fan Drive System
The cooling fan drive system features specialized motors for cooling towers, high-efficiency reducers, and precision transmission components.
